Inflammatory Acne

Do spot treatment with benzoyl peroxide and salicylic acid. If a severe case, consult your dermatologist for further treatment.

2. Pustules
TREATMENT

If a papule gets infected, it becomes a Pustule in a couple of days. These mostly occur on the chest, face, and back and can come to the surface as white bumps full of pus.

3. Nodules

Consult your dermatologist because nodules require more than just OTC treatments. Don’t pop it, you could cause inflammation and scarring.

These are similar to papules, but these start deep within the skin. Nodules are hard to touch and appear as painful and large bumps underneath the skin.

4. Cysts
TREATMENT

Consult your dermatologists. Don’t touch or pop them, because you’ll only be causing scarring and damage to the skin.

A severe form of acne, cysts are formed deep within the skin and are painful. They are inflamed, large bumps under the skin, filled with pus and should be treated immediately to avoid any long term damage to your skin.
